In 2002 founded the processing strategy of tourism development in South County JCCR idea of restructuring the regional tourism organization that is responsible for the coordination, management and marketing at the level of the whole region. Gradually, the agreement between the Regional Office, the South Bohemian Chamber of Commerce (JHK) and the Union of Towns and Municipalities of South Bohemia (SMOJK) the entry of these entities into JCCR and the method of financing. In 2009, the restructuring of South Bohemia Tourism contribution to the organization of the. It was established by resolution of the council of the South Bohemian Region No. 502/2009/ZK of 27 10th 2009

South Bohemia Tourism uses grants, contributions and grants from various sources to promote tourism through which such forms of tourism products, develop tourism infrastructure and culture in the region and cooperation with border regions of Upper and Lower Austria and Bavaria. JCCR region presents at home shows and fairs tourism operates the official Tourism Information System of South Bohemia and it continually expands the current data.
